ZUZANNA WĘŻYK

guitarist, composer and vocalist from Gdańsk. She has won numerous awards in national and international guitar competitions. Zuzanna is also connected with Salzburg and London, where, among other things, she honed her guitar skills at University Mozarteum Salzburg and film composition at Kingston University London. In 2020, with the UK-based creative group Acid Grass Records, Susanna released 'EP 2020′ – a mini-album of original guitar and vocal music, and in 2022 the production 'I Was Melting That Way / ULGA’.
During the 2022 Gdansk Carillon Festival, one could hear Zuzanna’s first arrangements for solo carillon. At subsequent editions of the festival, Zuzanna’s compositional contributions continued in the form of pieces for unusual instrumental lineups – in 2023 for classical guitar and carillon, and in 2024 for carillon, guitar and accordion. The creative process on these compositions was supported by the Gdansk Cultural Scholarship – Creative Fund. Again, for this year’s festival, Zuzanna will present further musical propositions for carillon, guitar, accordion and… flute.
