DENNIS VALLENDUUK   

studied organ at the conservatory of Saxion University of Applied Sciences in Enschede under Gijs van Schoonhoven, obtaining both the First and Second Phase diplomas in organ performance (formerly DM and UM). In 2007, he won the National Improvisation Competition at the Orgelpark in Amsterdam, and in 2008 he participated in the International Improvisation Competition in Haarlem. Since 2014, he has been the cantor/organist at the Plechelmus Basilica in Oldenzaal, where he plays the 1889 Witte organ. He also accompanies the Oldenzaal Boys’ Choir and conducts the men’s vocal ensemble Esquire. In 2023, he completed the master’s degree in carillon at the Netherlands Carillon School/HKU under Christiaan Winter, Frans Haagen, and Tommy van Doorn. In 2024, he won the carillon improvisation competition in Brielle. As of 2025, he will serve as the city carillonneur of Hengelo.

ORKIESTRA LUDWIKA SARSKIEGO  

is an artistic collective founded by two multi-instrumentalist composers: Damian Szymczak and Piotr Tomala. The ensemble gives concerts in Poland and abroad. The activities of the Ludwik Sarski Orchestra include chamber concerts and the performance of original live music for silent films by Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin, Roman Polanski and others.
On May 14, 2021, Ludwik Sarski Orchestra’s album entitled “THE KID,” released by DUX was premiered. The album is a tribute to the work of Charlie Chaplin and is inspired by his film “The Kid,” which celebrated its 100th anniversary of release in 2021. The Ludwik Sarski Orchestra is invited to collaborate by the most important media related to culture in Poland, i.e. TVP Kultura, Polish Radio 2, Filmoteka Narodowa – Audiowizualny Institute, Polish Institute in Moscow.
The collective’s chamber concerts are very popular, because thanks to illustrative film music, the listener is transported to the world of cinema with the eye of imagination, traveling through eras, places and situations familiar to him from film frames.
